Pups & Pints – Save the Date!

Pups & Pints – Save the Date, June 22, 2019

Back again, it’s picture day for your dog! This summer Pups & Pints is on Saturday June 22nd. This is a day for the dogs, and I’ll be there taking photos of LOTS of dogs. Why not bring out your furry best friend? It’s really easy: at the event, just visit the Shadow Dog booth, sign up, and donate $20 CASH. When it’s your turn, you’ll get a photo taken that day, and then you’ll receive a beautiful digital image of your pup. All proceeds will go to Safe Harbor Humane Society. To be sure you don’t miss any upcoming reminders, just click here for our event page.

This event is run in partnership with Petrifying Springs Biergarten which is perfect because you can come for photos and stay for a beer. Besides, what’s better than dogs and beer? Nothing!

Visit the Vendors!

Other vendors will also be at the event, and currently the list includes: Bentley’s Pet Stuff, K9 Kibble, Kenosha Running Company, From Head to Tail, Pike Creek Petsand Kenosha Pet Sitter. Be sure to check back, that list will be updated as we get closer to the event date.

Of course Safe Harbor Humane Society will be there too. They’ll likely bring adoptable dogs too!

Last summer we had a very HOT day, but K9 Kibble took care of everyone. Kiddie pools to the rescue! These were a huge hit, dogs were splashing and playing all afternoon.

County Park Activities

Have you ever been to Petrifying Springs ParkThere are plenty of hiking trails, so after your photo session (or before if you need to settle some puppy nerves) you can head out on the trails and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. There are even bird and squirrel feeding stations throughout the park which are always fun to watch. Another big bonus, there’s also a dog park. Another great way to burn off some of your dog’s energy!

And if You’re Thinking Your Dog Needs to be on Leash…

Don’t worry. All of the dogs in these photos were on leashes. Safety is ALWAYS priority, so leashes stay on. Later when I’m editing, I remove them whenever possible. So you can relax, your dog still qualifies for a great photo!

So just remember to put June 22nd on your calendar. This is your chance to receive a gorgeous image of your dog, knowing your donation is helping other dogs in need. We’ll be out there from 11:00AM to 5:00PM, so plan on joining in the fun. To be sure you don’t miss any reminders, click here and you can let us know that you’re planning to attend.

See you there!
